These guys aren’t loyal!. As a resident of Chateauguay, there aren’t too many great restaurant choices. For the longest time, my family frequented this establishment…before the change in management of course. To name a few negative changes: the new owners discontinued the loyalty card system, without notice. We were eligible for a free meal, so were none the happy after being loyal to the restaurant and being hastily dismissed under new management. Also, the new owners had the audacity to charge an extra $5 for nuts, which used to previously accompany the family chicken meal, a dish that costs ~$40 (ludicrous!!). What I find disappointing is that the new management seems to take for granted the loyal customer base. I’m all for promoting local businesses, but in this case I’ll be taking my business and loyalty elsewhere. BYE!
Good food but…… I’ve been to this place several times and have always enjoyed good food and friendly service. We went about a month ago and ordered the grilled platter for 2 and it was delicious as it has been on other occasions. However, this time at the end we were given a bill which included a 15% gratuity. I never had that experience at this restaurant before. It’s not because I don’t want to tip 15%. I usually tip that or more. The idea of a tip is to show that you appreciate (or not) the service you received. The whole idea is lost if you mandate it. I probably won’t go back.

Mmmm.. I’m Hungry Again For This Place. Charcoal grilled meats, homemade hummus slightly drizzled with olive oil, fresh egyptien salad with nuts, cilantro and dried grapes really hit the spot. Their seasoned rice which accompanies all their dishes is also delicious. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first went here but I came out full and satisfied. It’s a little pricier then other restaurants that size but the quality certainly makes up for it. Simply put, It’s a small, family owned restaurant that serves really good food.

Hands down best chicken ever! This Egyptian restaurant serves up old family recipes! Some of the tastiest food around! You will not be disapointed. Great salad with fresh herbs & nuts, great rice, awesome humus and more!
