Ordered here because my usual spot closes an hour before them and couldn’t pick up till late. I called in my order hours before and the fried sushi was hardly warm or crunchy when i brought it home. Also when i mentioned no shellfish they regretted to inform me that it would all be chicken and vegetable sushi. Very disappointed with the price considering what we ordered. Won’t be returning.

Service Nightmare. For Valentine’s we had decided a week in advance on Takyto as I love their Spider & Crab de Neige makis. When we arrived we were not politely informed that certain tables had been reserved so we played a bit of musical chairs. When we finally got around to ordering we were clearly speaking english, but were served in french, and rudely might I add. Approximately fifteen minutes after ordering my dates dish arrives at the table, and I am still waiting for mine which I don’t usually mind. My date eventually began asking where the dish I ordered was, and twice the young gentleman said he would go ask & didn’t come back. In this case it took them fourty five minutes, after my dates dish arrived, to make ten futomaki slices. We had arrived at 5:40 p.m. expecting to be out of there by 7p.m. to catch a movie after dinner, but no such luck. On top of all that bad service, if you can call it service, they demanded a minimum 10% tip. Rest assured that we are definitely never going back there!

Better Options Available. I used to be a regular patron of this restaurant until I found out that other Sushi Bars in Chateauguay are doing this much faster, more tasty, and less expensive. They have a good selection, if you can get passed the spelling errors in the menu, and the language barrier when ordering. I would still consider going back though, they were once a good place to eat at, they will get better again. f00d.ca
