Great prices, great food. Allo Mon Coco is now my go to breakfast place in the West Island. They have so many choices on their menu, there is something for everyone. The mains, are very well priced. The smoothies, are a bit expensive, but I find it like that in most breakfast places. The food is delicious. The restaurant is well decorated and clean. My only complaint is that it is very loud in the restaurant (possibly because of the high ceilings? not sure). It is usually quite busy in the restaurant. But overall, a big thumbs up.
Don’t know what’s the hype. Checking out the menu the prices are decent….. But what a disappointment…Crepe au sarrasin was so dry and badly made…horrible omelette squished inside. Don’t even talk bout the smoothie……….it wasn’t fresh fruit, just puree, and so artificially sweetened….I know you can’t judge a resto by one item but the service was slow and not sure if I’ll be going back
Awesome hearty breakfast. I’ve been to both the original Samson location and this one in DDO. Lemme tell you, food and quality at both places are identical. Allo Mon Coco is unlike any other breakfast place where fruit usually dominates the plate. What you have to try is their famous potatoes topped with cheddar, Swiss cheese or both! Once you eat here it will be the only breakfast place you will crave.
It’s a shame. The food is great, not horribly priced, the wait staff is terrific…but getting in the door is a horrific experience. I get that they’re busy, but the inexperienced and/or disorganized staff at the door make the experience way more pajnful than it has to be. They need better leaderahip and some common sense.
Food excellent. Service okay, like any other breakfast place. Do not expect a refill of coffee unless you ask.
