I can’t begin to tell you how delighted we were to have stumbled upon this gem! It’s Canada day and almost everything is closed – but we found this via this app and took a chance. Perfection!Warm ambience, casual resto, family owned by an Afghani couple, everything from the pumpkin/squash appetizer with dill to the marinated chicken breast kabob (on a bed of seasoned rice with a small salad topped with a yoghurt dressing) to the crowing glory of a FRESH HOME MADE baklava, was enchanting and bursting with flavour and love. We live in NDG but this was worth the trek!
I decided to try this restaurant out with my friend. Thanks to yelp, we loved the restaurant. Even though we never made a reservation, the employees were very accommodating and placed us at a table. I ate the pumpkin dish and it was beyond amazing. This restaurant will definitely be my go to place. I highly recommend the eggplant entre as well!!
Perfect afghani cuisine. Local family run shop. Affordable and tasty. Do try the lamb.. Make sure to give 30 minutes before pick up. Healthy alternative to all the fast food in the area.
Best middle eastern food in the west island, there is nothing to complain. Meat was tender (especially the lamb!) and the rice was incredible. This is a mom and pop, family run place where the atmosphere and the food is spot on every time. I strongly recommend any lamb on the menu.

I was really hyped on this place. Major dissatisfaction. Food was tasteless, overpriced and small portioned. Wish I could say better for this family run business, but I can’t. The owners are great, but I don’t endorse this place.
What an absolute west island treasure. Tucked away in the middle of a strip mall, ive driven by countless times without even noticing it. The Food is honestly deliscious and unlike anything iv’e ever really had before and not to mention under priced. The fact that its a BYOW seals the deal and I will go back for sure. 4.5 on 5. I would only say don’t go if you are in a rush as the service is quite relaxed 🙂
