It had been such a long time. I am not one to write a review. My husband and I had not gone to Bar B Barn in 15 years and the time we had gone was at the downtown location. Today, we decided to go to the Pointe Claire location because we happen to be in the area. This is a very sad location. I will purely focus on the food for this review. We each ordered the combo which is half ribs and chicken. As soon as the plate arrived – I commented that I was surprised to see the ribs arrive precut. This is the first time I have ever had that happen to me. The ribs had been put in the mircrowave to reheat them. The taste of the sauce was good but the meat was tough. It got unbearable as the ribs got colder. Endless chewing. The chicken was much lower quality than what you get elsewhere. Greasy and seemed boiled. Just odd and both of us didn’t eat beyond 2 bites. The coleslaw was good but it was a side order and I feel that it should have been included. I wish there would have been gravy for the fries and chicken but there was this sweet sauce instead. But the main attraction is the wings and they were shameful. Our bill was 60$ for 2 people excluding tip. The ribs are shameful I repeat. And as we exited the restaurant we could see people at the take out counter ordering to bring food home and we just do not understand how these people appreciate and support this low quality food. It’s beyond us. We will not be returning. I feel the responsible thing to do is let others know before they spend their money here. Please choose elsewhere.
BAR B BARN WEST ISLANDS (NEGATIVE) -*****. I never would take the time to write a review about a something but i guess theres a 1st time for everything!BAR B BARN West island has horribly horrible service, the chicken was terribly horribly dry, the bbq sauce tasted like poop with a touch of nickleback, the fries looked like n tasted like froen store bought fries that wast fried long enough and the pepsi was warm no ice .i would never go there again and i woudnt even send my worst enimies there !
We went a few weeks ago for the first time, service was good, the soup was good, the chicken was dry, the ribs were ok but the fries were bad same the mashed potatoes, we ordered the corona bucket the one that you can bring home after, instead they give us a Budweiser pitcher with the excuse that we can exchange it later for the bucket, didn’t happen.
Delicious Ribs. Went with my wife and a couple of friends. Really enjoyed the ribs my wife had the chicken, beer was nice and cold service was great. We enjoyed the new Giant Screens. We started with the jalapeo poppers and chicken wings. Thanks for a great time!!!
The Combo Juicy Chicken and Fall Off the Bone Ribs!!! 7 Giant T.V. Screens in the West Island. The Spanish rice is great! The ribs are fall off the bone sweet and satisfying, mash potatoes are fresh and lumpy just like grandma use to make. The great addition of giant T.V. screens is great for hockey or anything. If you have a child you can ask for children s shows, on one screen
