Truly one of the oldest landmark restaurants to eat Chicken and Ribs in the West Island. Always a proverbial favorite with their sticky ribs called Hawgs. Choose any size of these large ribs covered in sugar and molasses. Their side order of rice in tomato sauce is decadent. I tried to replicate this and it was impossible. Just the right heat and kick, Their french fries are always crispy. The chicken too, always tender and juicy.Great place for families and to hang out during the games. That being said the food is amazing still the same ribs and chicken, abundant, mouth watering, finger licking sweetness on those ribs, yumm!Our server was amazing, she even made the exception of putting only white meat on our brat daughters sandwich. Which comes standard as a mix (dark/light)The only downside…..drum roll. The lighting is like a school cafeteria, not very nice for ambience, or for couples. Makes them want to eat and run. This place has an amazing location, terrific flat screens everywhere, even a drop down projection screen. Can we all say game night yah!!! Unfortunately the seating and lighting is geared for families, Well that’s not working for you The Canadiens were playing, and my crew were the only ones into the game. Sad that they invested money into (any where you look tv) fell really really short, we were the only ones into the game Actually for game nite the had 4 tables in the dining room. Ouch!Bar B Barn kick it up time to renovate and bring the crew back!!!
