Death of a classic…. The manoir used to be pointe claire institution! great food and drink, and the service was impeccable, all of the changed when it was sold to Peter Sergakis, who compulsively buys bar and restaurants around montreal and kills anything that made them unique and different. Almost all the old staff has either quit or been fired, and replaced with what i can only imagine are the most incompetent people he could find. avoid at all costs! if you’re looking to grab a drink or a bite to eat, Mckibbins is close by, but even better, Ye Olde Orchard is a quick drive over to the pointe claird village…R.I.P Manoir, we’ll miss you dearly.
PREJUDICE. http://globalnews.ca/news/1004254/kicked-out-of-a-west-island-restaurant-for-pda/
The absolute WORST service anywhere!!! The waitress was obnoxious. Snapping her fingers for me to pass her my plate while I was in the middle of a conversation. Then refusing to ask I we wanted/needed anything else to drink. I will NEVER go back here.
Loved my breakfast. Was a nice egg and crepe.
Ever since the change of drink waitresses and food waiters to both the place has gone down hill, if you don’t order beer they don’t care about you the service is terrible. Food is priced good however and food isn’t bad
Disgraceful to say the least. Used to be the best spot in town believe it or not. Amazing cheap draft and great fast, home cooked meals. New management turned it into a tv laden, under-age sleezy hang out spot. It was a west-island staple and now its a hole in the wall. Real shame. My friends and family dont go anymore and we used to go every sunday.
Old, tired, time to move on. Have been a customer for 30 years (much less frequently for last 10). Won’t go back again. Very old, tired restaurant. Uninsiredbland menu, and food barely worth the calories (in fact i didn’t finish anything.) So many other options for pub food are available in the area that try to make it fun band fresh…I’ve been to the Manoir for my last visit. Owners seem to only want to get all they can financially without investing any time or interest. (and not feeling well today…maybe another case of food being off!)
