What a beautiful sunny but windy day to pay a visit to CAFE MARMALADE in the Pointe-Claire village. The once Urban Cafe closed and I loved it for it’s artsy ambiance and and health conscious ( gluten free/vegan homemade food) and Cafe Marmalade IS comparable. Owner is knowledgeable of the food that is offered & gregarious knowing people that came in.
These healthy food are tastier and fresher with the new owners! I loved my orders of the eggplant sandwich with homemade bread; excellent cinnamon brown sugar roll; kale salad and organic oolong tea!!! Very satisfying and nicer outdoor and inner deco as well! Wish them a lot of successes!!
Great homemade flaxseed bread, avocado sandwiches, kale salad and peanut butter cookies. Not a vegetarian place, but lots of creative vegetarian options. It had recently changed administration and I’ve noticed that they now have little signs identifying the food in the window which is really helpful. Sometimes, the food is fabulous, other times just ok and occasionally it is bad. I think it depends on the freshness and who made it. This may change with the new administration. It has not kept me from coming back though, as I always seek out their curry quinoa burgers, which are delicious.

Friendly. I live in the area and i always come by here and see Elenor in the shop. She has always been friendly and sweet with me. Their food is like the bomb on healthy and their sweets are the hit!!!! I usually order the avocado sandwiches and scones, along with the quinoa patties. I always go and stop by to grab some food, their food never disappoints! Delicious but healthy.
Sooooooo good! I have never been disappointed. Healthy and yummy! Best kale salad ever.
