Costumer. The food was OK, but expensive however the show was great (u2). You must be aware that the restaurant charge the amount of 20$ per person to watch the show. The bill at the end is quite expensive for the wine selection and quality of the food. We booked for 3 in advance, the 3rd person decided at the last minute to cancel, and we were charge for the amount. A good tip if you decide to go see a show, do not eat there and book last minute.

BE ADVISED!. The restaurant requires a $10 minimum food purchase in the restaurant. They say it is because of provincial restrictions but they still allow you to drink without buying food in the bar area which is just a few feet away.

Great Band, Terrible Food. This place is a great venue for bands/shows, we went for Bowser & Blue Jan. 25/2014 and what a great show!. However, the food is terrible. We started with the coconut shrimp and couldn’t even find the shrimp as it was lost in the batter. Our second dish was the crab cake which wasn’t even made with REAL crab! Upon disecting it apart large chunks of crabe (coloured pollock) filled the inside of the cold appetizer, not warmed enough. Our waiter was around sparingly and it took a while for a drink $8 for a glass of red wine that was only 1/4 full, it wasn’t even a regular restaurant pour. We moved on to dinner since dinner and a show means ordering dinner. The Asian noodles were swimming in a sauce so full of sodium it took several glasses of water to help with the flavour. Beware beef burritos are NOT beef burritos, it’s a wrap stuffed with rice, dried out chewy beef and then put on a panini grill to squish it down. Nothing like beef burritos from real Mexican Restuarants. If you are going to advertise a Mexican menu section try to make it like Mexico! Needless to say both my husband and I had a few fork fulls of our main dishes then sent them back to the kitchen. Drinks way over priced ($13 for a martini) even my local bar doesn’t charge more than $10, food is bad for a pub, show was fantastic!

Can’t go wrong. Calistoga Grill is a safe bet for a quick lunch, after work drink with friends, dinner and/or an evening out. They have an interesting range of appetizers, and the mains are always sure to please. Some of my faves are the Warm & Spicy Dip or Coconut Shrimp to start, then the Chipotle Lime Chicken, Grilled Veggie and Goat Cheese pizza, or Chicken Quesadilla as the main dish. When the weather is warm, it’s great to sit out on the terrace. If you are a live music fan, this is the place for you! Some of the best area bands grace their stage, and every once in a while a truly unexpected performance pops up on the roster.

Nice Atmosphere -I do like the place, just not the food. How unfortunate, this is a lovely place to listen to music, – meet up with people. You can still do that from the bar although you can’t really see the stage. If you decide to sit and watch you are obligated to have a meal. Understandable enough…. but really? How about hiring a real chef? I have been told by many a friend that the food is just substandard. I decided to order the Marilyn burger, it did come recommended. It was a hockey puck that seemed cooked previously, no taste whatsoever, and came on 2 slices of toasted white bread? Is that nouveau cuisine? Franchement! The sweet potato fries were perfect, and the little salad on the side tasted awful. The young man who served us was exceptionally amicable and tried hard to make things right. Among my 2 friends, one ordered the fish, the other also had the same as I. The consensus was unanimous, nice venue, wonderful music, just eat elsewhere.

The atmosphere was very nice and romantic. The live band was not bad either but the food was not the greatest.

Best tributes bands in Montreal and not to mention great food and service. Couldn’t of had a better night !!
