This is one of my all time favourite places to go for a fancier meal. It's on the pricey side but it's perfect for a celebration or a treat. Their tab…

Great. Very tasty food. Quite expensive .
Good food. One of the best in Montreal! Never thought I’d find such good restaurant in Pointe-claire. I came back to Pointe-claire village to get my macaron fix from Rumeur. Thought we’d give this lovely looking restaurant a try, so we went in for lunch. Lovely setting and great service, very fine wine selection and even just the lunch menu is very attractive. Will make another trip down here to explore this lovely village, it really is full of surprises. First Rumeur, now Le Gourmand, very exciting.
A Pointe Claire Village Jewel. Le Gourmand is one of my favourite restaurants in Montreal’s West Island. Our most recent visit was on a Friday night with a group of 6. We were seated downstairs and the restaurant was quite full and busy for the duration of our stay. The restaurant is situated in an old 19th century house (a Pointe Claire landmark) with a very cosy stone walled interior. The ambiance is casual yet elegant and is perfect for any occasion. There is a bar section at the back of the restaurant and an outdoor patio that’s open during the summer. We ordered from both the table d’hote as well as from the regular menu. Everyone enjoyed their meals (I can’t remember exactly what everyone ate but there were certainly no complaints and the dishes went back pretty much empty). I personally love their steak tartar (which does not appear on the menu) and the chef happily agreed to prepare this for me despite how busy the kitchen was that night. The service was great and the total bill was as expected a little on the pricey side. We will continue to go back and would recommend this to anyone looking for a good place to eat on the West Island. Reservations are also recommended.
Beautiful setting inside, wonderful garden terrace in the back and great food. Staff are friendly and the owner really knows food and wine. One of our favourite places in Montreal.
Dianem. One of the best restaurants on the West Island. Never had a bad meal. The service is outstanding. We were there for New Years in 2010, and we were not kept waiting and the food arrived hot .Again service for such a busy night was memorable. We go as often as we can.
