Don’t eat food here! They don’t know how to cook in there!We went to Klondike Resto Grill last night. We heard the live music and got a fantastic bar seat looking at the boardwalk and lake. We were there about 2 1/2 hours. The music and atmosphere kept us there.We decided to order a jug of white Sangria. It was ok. I am not sure there was any alcohol in it as it tasted mostly like orange juice. There is no description on the menu except ‘white Sangria’ so who knows. Our great waitress also came with bread as we ordered the table d’hte fish and chips.The bread was completely dried out. I had the waitress feel it and she returned it and came out with more. It was exactly like the first ones. The couple behind me noticed we returned the bread too. He commented that a place like this should be able to have fresh bread as his was dried out too.The soup tasted like canned soup. My husband ate it. The FISH and CHIPs? The tasteless batter (no salt) fell off of the fish and the fish did not flake and had a funny taste to it. I called the waitress and told her I have never tasted such bad fish and chips. The fries were soggy like the oil was not hot enough and they had a funny taste to them. The waitress was great, she knew about the food. I didn’t as I had not checked reviews. Then I discovered all the comments about the fish and chips.I asked the waitress if she knew about all the bad reviews. She did but of course it is not her fault, it is her job.The round donut things for dessert were gros too. I took one bite and spit them out. It was like a raw blob of deep fried dough which was not cooked properly.
