Pete’s Cape Cod…an excellent restaurant for sea food .. We had the sole which was a pleasure….beautifully presented…and delicious! Service was excellent…very professional. It reminded us of our many meals at Pete’s in P.E.I.!Truly a pleasure!!!

Very disappointing. It has been years since we have been to Pete’s Cape Cod and while going for a walk along the boardwalk we decided to eat here since we love seafood. What a disappointment. Our 20$ jumbo shrimp salads tasted like water as if they had just been defrosted and the caesar dressing tasted like it came out of a cheap bottle. Service was extremely slow and we overheard management arguing with a waiter only a few feet from our table. All the employees looked like they wanted to be elsewhere. The only thing that was good were the crab cakes. Don’t waste your money.

Big portions. Fish well cooked.. She had a Seafood Casserole. And loved it. I had a Fish on the grill Grouper with fries. Also excellent. The vegetables were not very impressive. No need for an appetizer with the size of the meals. Meals come with a pleasant salad. What I found inexcusable and might stop me going back. We sat on the terrace and next to me sat a person smoking. All the smoke going in my face. We did get moved (no easy feat with the crowds) but it took a while. I know it is legal to smoke on terraces, but….. maybe smoking on terrace with 18 year minimum age? Kids are sitting at this terrace.

Bad and irritating experience in Peters Cape Cod. We had very bad and irritating experience in Peters Cape Cod. The whole story is like this:We, a group of fifteen people decided to go to the restaurant of Peters Cape Cod on the late afternoon of June 29, 2013. We were afraid that there might not be enough seats available without appointment since we had fairly a large group; we called the restaurant for a reservation. We were told that there would be no need for the reservation, and just present ourselves in the restaurant as first come first served. At the time when we were calling, there seemed no problem for them to handle a group of people like us.Immediately after hanging up the phone, all of us went to the restaurant right away. We got there around 6:00 PM and were told by a junior floor manager (a young girl) that we needed to wait for our turn and could come back 50 minutes later (no need to wait inside the restaurant). We followed the young managers instruction, and went out. We passed our time wandering the streets and around a little park in the small town.Unfortunately, the situation completely changed after we returned to the restaurant about an hour later. When we were discussing our turn with the junior manager, a 50-year age lady walked in and unceremoniously took control of the conversation from the junior manager (she claimed she was a floor manager). She bluntly ignored the fact that we were told to come back an hour later and were waiting for the service. They admitted that this was their mistake in communication, but she arrogantly refused to rearrange our table accordingly (even we told her we did not have to be at a group table). We were asked to go back to the long line to wait again.Of course, her rude attitude angered us, some of our people could not hold the anger and went up to argue with her; an old and skinny man (one of the restaurant chefs) was yelling at us from the back of the chefs bench. The old lady at this moment accused us of offending her, and she used this as excuse to order us to leave. We all left without any hesitation!Although we waited more than one and half hour for nothing, we felt that we did not lose anything except our suffering empty stomach. The bigger loser actually is Peters Cape Cod, they lose their customers, the customers trust and most important of all, their moral obligation as a dining service provider!

Will never go back. Tasteless fish, bland rice, frozen vegetables, cheap decor, poor service. Too expensive to what you have.

Never again. We used to eat at Peters and the food was good. So last Sunday evening we took some guests for a night out and the food was terrible. Crab cakes were shaped like perfect hockey pucks . They looked like they came out of a frozen food counter, and were flavourless except for the stale taste. The salmon was grilled to the consistency of shoe leather and tasted stale. The linguini with clam sauce was like glue and the clams were straight from a can, also tasted stale. The rainbow trout was one of those frozen ones from the supermarket. The fries were straight from a bag of frozen potatoes and their texture was mushy. The vegetables were from a frozen medley and were soggy and flavourless. The bill, on the other hand was first class. If they are going to charge those prices they need a chef.
