Pretty god lunch special, well priced for the quality, service was good and prompt. I’ll go back, take orders as well, have called mine in and picked up on the way home.
Love the sushi here. This is genuinely the best of west island without breaking the bank. Good fish to rice ratio, fish is fresh and sushi rice is well cooked. I typically order take out.
Small place, the sushis are good, seafood with rice vegies were ok but the crab imitation didn’t leave a good impression. But overall, service is good and food taste good too!
We really enjoyed it
My wife’s sister won a $50 gift certificate for here from 94.7. She invited us to go with her for dinner there since she had the coupon. Decoration is okay. Nothing fancy. Restaurant is a bit oddly shaped though. 2 different sections, both long and narrow. Sat down, ordered 2 appetizers, 5 sushi rolls, and a chicken and salmon teriyaki. Service was a bit on the slower side. Didn’t start getting food until 20 minutes in or so. There was about 3-4 tables at that time. Prices are a bit on the higher end which I don’t mind so long as the food is good. The food wasn’t good. Well… some of it wasn’t good. Sushi was good. No complaints there. The teriyaki on the other hand… Chicken teriyaki was about $15 and the Salmon teriyaki was $17.50 I believe. This had to be by far one of the worst teriyaki dishes ever! You are served a big round plate with what looks like a bunch of vegetables from a bag surrounding a ball of rice and 6 thin slices of chicken cooked individually. The exact same thing for the salmon, 6 cooked pieces of sashimi surrounding the ball of rice which had sesame on top of it and barely any sauce. None of those stuff had any flavor. It was all just very bland. I had to put soy sauce in the rice and dip all the fish and chicken in soy sauce for it to taste like something. With prices like that, they should have the decency to cook me a whole chicken breast sliced properly and a nice piece of salmon. What they gave me looked like scraps. Never have I seen salmon and chicken teriyaki cooked that way. Seriously unforgivable! Bill came out to $115, used our $50 certificate and added an extra $85. I would NEVER come back here again. You would think with Kanda just next door they would pick up their game a bit. Could have eaten at an all you can eat sushi place for $27 after tips and had a better and cheaper meal even without a $50 certificate!
I love this place. It’s my go to place whenever I feel like sushi. Each time I try new restaurants, I always end up comparing them to the fresh sushi from wisushi and nothing so far exceeds their quality!
Good quality. The highlight of WiSushi is certainly their quality and creativity. It’s a nice atmosphere, the service is very amicable and every time I go there, I’m never disappointed. It’s fairly expensive but that is the sacrifice for good quality sushi. The sweet potato appetizer is very delicious, I order it every time 🙂
