I honestly liked the food. We got the combo with sushi dumplings shrimp and salmon. We also got fish and chips. The portion is very reasonable specially related to the price you pay. I do highly recommend, the service might be a bit slow. But due to the price it is worth it. It has a good spot with a decent view. Its good to spend the day away from routine life like a mini getaway. I would def go back there again
One cannot expect a lot from this touristy area and this resto is a notch above most with a little better than average quality of food. While some of the sushi is great, others are pleasant but not ground breaking. The General tao chicken was plump and well cooked and crunchy. The sauce was decent but not exceptional. They did give you white meat. Nice ! The shrimp in the tempura was large and well cooked, but again the dipping sauce just OK. The fried dumplings has a really nice complex taste and the spring rolls where very good. The portions are healthy and the prices are very reasonable for this area.It was a not too busy Sunday night, and the service was fast and friendly.
Definitely worth it. I went there several times and ordered sushi, combos, and take-out. The sushi is EXCELLENT. Fresh, yummy, and cheap for the quality you get. The other items on their menu I liked less, though they weren’t bad either. The service is definitely lacking. The waitresses are nice but slow. We usually got our food within 15~ minutes and our drinks almost right away, but when we ordered take-out we had to wait over 50 minutes because they served the customers that eat inside the restaurant first. Overall I recommend it for the sushi! Most of the time the service is fair, the place is clean with a nice atmosphere, and unless you’re a snobby spoiled brat, waiting an extra 10 minutes for your order won’t ruin your sushi experience.
I got take-out sushi with my boyfriend. Took a while, but we were ordering for three people. Good sushi, can’t comment on the table service though. Might go back for a sit down order..
Absoluty disgusted!. Gong-Show. It wasn’t busy when we arrived-during-or after we left. We were on the Terrace, and first off it took 15 minutes before we had to get up and get our own menu’s from the waitress inside. Then if took another 20 minutes before we had to fetch the waitress again to tell her we were ready to order. 1 x General Tao + 1 x Jasmine tea + 1 x Beer. 33 minutes later…. Yes.. THIRTY THREE MINUTES, he had to get up and ask her if we were going to get our order. We hadn’t even received our beer or tea for crying out loud. 8 minutes later we get the tea…. minus the cups. Asked for cups, and how much longer before we would get food.5 minutes later she’s back with cups. And said she forgot to put in the order for food.Thank-you, Good-bye, No Tip. Oh! And the people at the table next to us… they had been waiting even longer. AND, they were overcharged… They had a 30$ meal… and they tried to charge them 150$.WORST SERVICE EVER!(oh, I can’t comment on the food since I never got any, but our lovely table neighbours confirmed the food was truly not worth it.. at all!)And on a side note… 30 minutes later we were eating ice-cream in front of the same restaurant’s terrace, and none of the tables had been cleared yet.
