One of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. I am Mauritian and that is a disgrace to Mauritian cuisine. The restaurant itself was dirty. The floor was sticky, just like a greasy kitchen floor not cleaned for months. The food is too expensive for what it is. We ordered fried noodles as I’ve had that almost every week when I was in Mauritius and it was the first time in 20 years that I regretted ordering fried noodles. The restaurant seemed very poorly managed. There were the managers kids cleaning the utensils after playing on the floor and with a rag that was dirty and wet. I was ashamed of calling this Mauritian food in front of my girlfriend who’s from Montreal. We were both sick the next day even if we ate only the quarter of our meal and asked the rest as doggy bags. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and maybe suggest and sanitation inspector to inspect the place.

Too much sugar and oil!. A cozy interior but it’s the first time I couldn’t finish any of the things I had. You start with a plate of greasy fried cabbage then a super salty yellow pea soup and the creole sauce I had on my meat was like a spicy sweet and sour sauce. This also felt heavy on the oil. The house lemonade was even too sweet to finish! Too bad…
It was good confort homy food. I went with my husband on a Friday night. They are very attentive. Coconut shrimps were very good. Sauted noodles very tasty but both of them a little to fat. My husband took the lamb. Really tasty. if you like Caribbean food a great spot. A little over price at the end including everything for the type of meal but it was a discover on the Gastronomy of Mauritius Island.
Amazing service, vibrant colour in the food, good amount of food, excellent soup and good quality of food (clean and fresh), real home cooking style. They just need more music options when I was there
A true delight. Amazing atmosphere! We went there for dinner one night and ended up dancing the night away with the owners. Very warm and welcoming service.
