Very good bang for your buck. You can get a meal for 4 for about 50$ tax and tip included. The food is good for the price. It’s not fine dining but we’ll surely be returning.

Great Food Great Prices. The Maison Egg Roll is my ‘go to’ Chinese resto in my neighborhood (Pt St Charles/Verdun) and I have to say I love it. Never been disappointed in the quality, service or prices. The kitchen obviously cares, as the food is fresh and correctly seasoned and always hot. Tried the take-out a few times and it, too, was great. But love the dining room and the good service.I hope it never changes!

Worst westernized Chinese food ever. A place has to be exceptionally awful for me to bad mouth it, but the Maison Eggroll has earned this distinction. Westernized fast Chinese food is not exactly a gourmet affair, but the food at this restaurant is literally inedible. It reminds me of small town Chinese restaurants in the Prairies, where the pineapple sauce is radioactive red and the chicken balls are almost pure dough. Those places are actually better, on average, than this disaster of a restaurant.I had a combo meal and began with the wonton soup, which featured pinky fingernail sized pieces of mystery meat drowned is folds of unappetizing dough. The broth tasted like heavily diluted Campbell’s chicken broth. The garlic ribs floated in a sauce that seemed to be mostly pork fat and brown sugar and were completely nauseating. We ordered a shrimp fried rice and a special fried rice and it was clear that the crusty brown base of rice had its distinguishing ingredients tossed into it after the fact rather than being fired together freshly. Every plate we had was disgusting, to the point where even my not-picky children refused to eat enough despite being very hungry. This restaurant seems very popular, and was quite full, with people coming in for take out regularly throughout the travesty of our meal, and the wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. However, none of this makes up for the fact that you could not pay me to eat there again.

Egg rolls, chicken soo guy, general tao chicken .. Egg Roll |House was originally in St Henri on Notre Dame Street West. Prime Minister Trudeau ate there; They have the best egg rolls in town, bar none. I also enjoyed theopen ended egg rolls at Bill Wongs, which is now closed. The food is excellent and the prices are extremely reasonable. They are now located on |Wellington Street in Verdun but the location in St. Henri was far better. They took up with the Paprika Chinese Restaurant. I repeat the prices are extremely reasonable. You get a good bang for your buck.
