Worst sushi. When to umi sushi last friday. Sushi where discusting and tuna not fresh. We told the waitress about the fresness of the fish while we pay and she insist it was all fresh but was not willing to taste. they did not offer any discount and was instead trying to give us the remaining sushi to go !!we left and did not eat half the sushi we order. Worst sushi restaurant, dont go.

Love it. Umi is a nice place if you enjoy fresh food and excellent service. I always go to Umi when I want to enjoy my evenings with family and friends. To the person who said he has been to over 50 Japanese restaurants around the world, maybe it’s just the wrong day with the wrong meal?
I don’t want to sound like I’m exaggerating or overly critical but Umi was one of the worst and most pathetic restaurant I’ve been to so far. The sushi tasted like rubber and had no flavor, the vegetables were VERY old, and they served soy sauce as dipping sauce for tempura. I’ve been to over 50 Japanese restaurants around the globe (imcluding ones that were run by Chinese people like Umi) and I’ve NEVER had such an insulting meal. Umi is great if you’re a pretentious white person who doesn’t know what Japanese food actually tastes like.
Decent place, but not spectacular. Good service. Fresh ingredients.
