  Been here a few times for supper and typically have the pasta. Nice flavours and service is good. Atmosphere is casual and a great first date place. Not too expensive and can have a great inexpensive meal.

  Have gone to Gentile a few times in Westmount…first time I was quite impressed, service was friendly and the food was ok, the second time went with another friend and it was just ok, the restaurant was filled and they seemed overwhelmed with work, food arrived on the cold side but we didn’t complain…the last time was tonight but since the restaurant was packed, we had to order take out, which I was told would take 30 minutes and that’s after paying…right then and there I was not happy.After getting home all food was cold and I only live 5 minutes from restaurant…the beet salad was very small with not enough dressing ,the caesar salad was even smaller and the worst of it, did not seem to have been washed as my daughter observed there was just chunks of salad you could tell it couldn’t have been washed…the sexy fries so salty we threw them out, so needless to say this was not success.Very disappointing , I was so excited to have a new restaurant in the neighbourhood , maybe I’ll give it another try and I hope they will improve, I actually heard that they will have a new MENU very soon.
