Great food!. I have been here couple of times, great food just a bit too pricy.
Price is way out of whack for very mundane food. But hey if you want a bowl of corn flakes for $5 go for it. I however will PASS!
Good old Resto !. I ate at Chez Nick’s yesterday and frankly i had an excellent Westmount burger, i’ll explain to you what it is : a Burger with a slice of brie cheese and some piece of clementine : Simply delicious a good change of Mc Donald Big Mac with a lot more personality ! And for those who said that english spoken peoples don’t try to speak french in Montral : the waitress speak with me in a more than good french even though i can speak english and she was very pleasant ! It’s not wonder that this Restautrant is still there after more than 90 years, great food and great service !
Terrible food and service. I cannot believe anyone likes this place. The manager rude, the food awful and it cost us $40 for 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and a bocconcini sandwich!!! I wouldn’t go back if I was starving to death !!!
Great. I love it there it’s yummy and has that cute diner feel, but I have to admit, I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there. I only go cuz it is near by.
Great service from the moment I walked in, my coffee was always full, and some of the best potatoes that I can remember getting. The omelette was incredible (brie and bacon with subdried tomatoes) and the toast came with a full assortment of jams and marmalade. A bit expensive, but with the vintage atmosphere and stellar service, it’s worth every penny.
I`LL PASS ON NICK`S……. Ate here a few times but never felt it was a good deal. This place has been in business for 90 years and they seem content to rest on their laurels….but I wouldn`t eat here again. High prices for mediocre food is nothing I need to settle for in a city like Montreal that has so many great restaurants.21 Jan, 2010OVERPRICED. Food is average at best. Nowhere nearly worth what they charge. I avoid places like this like the plague.
