Cupcakes are to die for!. I am so thankful to have discovered Petit Lapin. Their dedication to making gluten-free, vegan and allergy-free pastries is one of a kind in the area of Montreal. Even though I do not suffer from any food intolerance as many do, I prefer their sweets over any other. I was amazed to find out they use pure sugar cane, maple and agave syrup as an alternative to white sugar and the ingredients they use do not take away from the moistness and richness of the product! I definitely recommend this little bakery to anyone with a sweet tooth – health issues or not!26 Mar, 2015Cupcakes are to die for!. I am so thankful to have discovered Petit Lapin. Best option for everyone!. I was very excited to try Petit Lapin because they are known be the cutest bakery shop in town plus my boyfriend is allergic to egg and nuts. This place is totally perfect for us! We got a box of 6 cupcakes to go. The cake itselft is very moist and the frosting is very fluffy, creamy and not too sweet. It’s hard to believe that they are made without egg, butter, wheat, etc. Yes, they are free of the 10 top allergens and they are gluten free as well! My fave is the chocolate cupcake! We also tried their macarons. How can they make them without egg and almond? Again, it’s hard to believe but they are tasty and simply melt in my mouth. My fave is the coconut macaron! As for my boyfriend, he was in tears because it was his first time trying a macarons without getting any reactions! I loves them all! We will definitely come back to try their donuts, cake pops and even apple pies. Finally a place where everyone can enjoy sweets and is not being left behind!
Meh. It’s a cute little place and everything looks adorable all matchy matchy with the pink and blue but the things we tried were all disappointing. The cupcake tasted like old oil which was weird. Donuts were dry. The donut icing was probably the best part. We were pretty underwhelmed.
Looks better then tastes. It is a very cute looking place, everything looked very appetizing, I got 5 different things and none of them tasted nice. Cupcakes were all over cooked and there is a weird spice in all of their cakes.. The only thing I enjoyed was the green tea icing.
