I’ve only been here once and did not eat. I was there to meet a group of others and had to wait in line for over a half hour. It was busy, but they were definitely dragging. Once I finally got to the register, I ordered the special, which was an almond iced coffee. It was really good, and the desserts/food others had looked good. Everyone was commenting on how slow the service was though.

The desserts are good but the rest is very hit or miss. I’m not sure why. The bread especially seems to be either very good or dried out. Soups are good but not always are expected based on the name. To me the prices seem rather expensive especially given the size and nature of the food. In fairness a lot of people really like this place so I keep trying it and sometimes I can see why.

Very expensive but kind of worth it? It can be hard to get something basic and kind of like homemade here in Saskatoon. The coconut cake was heavenly.

Overpriced and inconsistent. Everything they make can be made at home, the sandwiches are just bread with a couple ingredients grilled on a cheap panini press. Which is fine, just don’t charge so much. The baking has also gone downhill in the last couple months. Would not recommend.

1/2 Panini + Soup Or Salad. Very filling and made fresh with the highest quality ingredients. I’m lucky to have this little gem in my neighborhood!

Pricey for what you get. Decent food! However, I had a full sandwich with soup & my mom had a half a sandwich with soup (accompanied with a coffee, water & tart) and our total was just over $30. I thought it was a bit much.

A great neighbourhood cafe. Their oatmeal cake is absolutely delicious….and so is the apple cake, cinnamon buns, ice cream, pumpkin pie (later in the fall). I love taking my dogs for a walk on weekends and stopping at Tastebuds to grab a coffee to go. The hours are good and the service is always very friendly. The cafe just got a new coat of paint too! It’s great to have a place like this in Buena Vista.
