Not baby friendly. No high chair meant we couldn’t stay. We went to Ricky’s instead.

Good -yes. Amazing? Not really. A nice place to stop for sure. Aimed more as a lunch venue than supper but the sandwich servings can be increased by adding a salad or soup. Warning the quiche is super tiny for $4. Nice drink selection though – really like the fentimans

Nice place. Stopped by yesterday and had the naan pizza with proscitto and dates. I really enjoyed it. Was a nice balance of sweet, salty and tang. The staff were friendly. The surrounding was very nice and relaxing and they make good coffee. The only negative is the staff needs to learn the menu and ingredients better. Otherwise a good experience and will return.

Loved it everytime. I have been at Bistro 172 and each time tried something different! The quiche was very good. The naan bread pizza I very much enjoyed. Never had it before and found it delicious – really hit the spot. But my favourite is the teriyaki chicken rice bowl. I will defintely go back again. The owner Terry, has always been there too making sure the customers are happy and taken care of. Highly recommend it!!

Turkey Club a Flub. I’m not usually a complainer when it comes to food. If its ok, I move on. The Turkey club was first off, not a club in the traditional sense. Cold Turkey white meat on a Panini bread with avocado paste and tomato paste is not a club. Plus as another mentioned, cold meat in a warm shell is very disappointing. And their kettle chips were literally, store bought chips. Maybe the kettle valley brand but they were still store bought chips advertised like they were made in house. Lastly, air conditioning is broken so waiting for someone to take my order with only one other person in line and four people working while I sweated through my dress shirt was not exactly appealing. I will say the dcor was nice and Bad Ass Jacks before it in this locale was sadly declining. Hoping this was an isolated incident and they are still working out the bugs.

Close but no potato. The bread was great with my panini. It was full of flavor. But there were a few downsides. One being, the sandwich was about the same size as a men’s wallet. Small and gone in a few bites. For $10.00 dollars, I expect something more filling. The inside of the panini was still cold off the press. I’m not sure if that intentional, but it didn’t taste as good as it could fully warmed. My sandwich included what I think is a zucchini slice. It was about 5 inches long and wrapped around inside the sandwich. It was rubbery and I couldn’t bite it apart. I ended up having to toss it, along with all of the cheese and good stuff it was mixed in to.I asked what the soup of the day was. One was lemon chicken rice. Sounds delicious, but I’m a vegetarian so I asked what was the other option- potato soup. $3 for a cup of soup seemed like a reasonable priced add on, but the lady serving me (though very friendly) couldn’t tell me whether it contained meat or not. Kind of a big deal to me. I like the staff I’m ordering from to know most of the key ingredients in the food they serve. So I opted not to try the soup. It’s hard to say if I will be back. Like a couple restaurants I have reviewed early on, I believe they are still working out some kinks and might improve greatly within the next year or so. We’ll see
