They say that they did not allow backpack in the bar and ask me to leave it outside as people bring outside drink and drugs into the bar. Please bring your ID with you as they might also refuse service if you did not have it on you. Wings and drinks are paid separately, so you will need some cash on hand as well. Now, it is on to the food. I have heard many good things about the place, it was ranked no.3 in a newspaper for the best wings in Saskatoon. However, I am gravely disappointed. I order the Buffalo and creamy Greek chicken wing on Saturday. It came to $ 5. I would say the flavour is good, however it is COLD. Like it was pre cooked and left out for an hour cold. My Red Sangria was good with lots of fruit in the bottom. The service is okay. However, I do think there are way better bar to go to, Mano, Rain, The rook and raven. I would definitely not be back, not for all the trouble to get cold wings.
Delicious food! The service was a tad slow. The onion rings were nice and crispy. The crossroads were delicious and tasted like potatoes rather than something synthetic. And that Ceasar salad! The onions in the rings were too thick for me. And the poutine isn’t really a poutine as much as fries, gravy and mozzarella cheese (no curds.)
Great little neighborhood pub!. Great food and amazing staff!! wings are amazing, and rest of the food is great too! It’s an awesome little neighborhood pub for all ages to enjoy. Have always been treated with respect from the employees and have always had fast service. As for the person who commented on the stabbing. There are a million restaurants all over the city that have had stabbings and or violence at and I bet you still go to those bars. Acts of violence happen everywhere don’t be judgemental about a situation that could have occured literally out side your front door.
Great Pub Food and Service. Have had awesome service and meals. Have witnessed the servers getting alot of grief and rude comments/remarks on wing night. You gotta remember this place is not a cactus club type establishment and if your starving and need to eat asap maybe dont get wings on thursdays. They have a system I’ve been told that works with the high demand. Also its good to note your paying an incredibly cheap price for above average wings with great flavours. Cut them some slack enjoy a beer or two. Been going here for many years and I doubt that will change.
Didn’t somebody get killed outside this establishment? Even best wings in the world couldn’t get me to check out this place.
Slowest service. You have to wait for the wing lady to come around we waited over an hour and a half for her and she served people that came after us before us and the food tasted like crap
Horrendous employees. The majority of the bar staff should be let go.
