Stopped in for Happy Hour on a Tuesday , great ambiance, sat on the enclosed patio on a windy spring afternoon. Our server was very helpful and cheerful. We enjoyed half price bottles of wine and appies. The food we ordered was tasty!

I came here last night for dinner, and thank god we had a reservation. We walked in and there were several groups of people waiting for tables. We were seated quickly and our waiter Andrew was very easy going. He told us about the specials and had our drink order out in no time. The blackberry daiquiri is perfect, if youre into the sweeter cocktail type of drink! The food was average. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were delicious and fresh, the sandwich was a bit greaser than I had anticipated, but still good. I loved the atmosphere of this place and hope to return again another time.

Cactus Club is my go to place when in town. Great service, love the atmosphere. The staff easy going and informative on meal recommendations. Mathew, bartender, helped with my select this evening with a starter Kale Salad followed by the Grilled Dijon Salmon. I passed on the mash potatoes as I love roasted asparagus and double up on them. The dish was delicious.

Overrated establishment! I ordered the steak frites last night. The steak was cooked perfectly, just the way I like it (medium-rare) but my steak was really salty. Everyone at my table complained that their steaks were extremely salty as well and their mashed potatoes were bland and over whipped (the texture was like a thick paste). My dish included a side of kale salad. But there wasn’t any kale in the salad. It was a salad with mixed greens with very vinegary dressing. All of the desserts aren’t made in the restaurant..so its really not worth paying $10 for a slice of cheesecake. This restaurant is definitely not worth the money. If I wanted an over-seasoned steak with a side of packaged mixed greens, then I could do that myself at home.

I’m a little late to the party given how long Cactus Club has been open and this is my first visit. Probably because it’s not my normal cup of tea – trendy and more style than substance. But the service was great and they know how to cook a good steak so I’m impressed. Lots of things on the menu that don’t appeal to me at all but I can appreciate other people like it. Prices are a bit strong.

Consistently good food, service, portion sizes….always a good eating experience. Never disappointed with my meal and wishing I had went somewhere else.
