Nice ambience, very good service and fair price. The food was good though not exceptional.

The place looks a run down and old. Rips in the seats, and there was a leak in the ceiling that was dropping on one of the tables, which could have been wiped regularly. The water like brown. Decided to stay anyway, ya never know, heard the food was good. Pizza was good. Service started out ok then dropped right off. Part way through the meal, waitress said she was leaving and another person would be looking after us. Never saw her, waited for quite a while then I had to go looking for someone and it almost appeared like no one was even working there. Had to wait near the bar area for a bit for someone to come out. Wouldn’t recommend this place. Maybe for take out pizza.

My server was extremely friendly, professional and she provide great service. However, I have a problem with my first dish(poutine), there was a staple in my gravy and fries. The waitress kindly offer the food for free of charge and handle it very well. However, I still find that the kitchen have done a poor job in handling their food and food safety. My second dish (chicken souvlaki) to exchange for the previous one, the shrimp tasted really good and it was well seasoned. The chicken souvlaki is tender and not too dry. The whole dish tasted like a homemade dish. However, due to the staple issue, I am not likely to go back there.

Kim. Love the dry ribs here – have been ordering them for 20 years. 90% of the time, they are awesome. Of course there’s bones in them, they’re RIBS. Hi Ken!

My brother and I went here on a Thursday night. After a long day at work we decided to try this place. When we arrived it was busy with lots of people leaving after the supper hour. We waited paciently to be seated, the waitress apologized saying she though we were picking up an order. I said it’s ok and no worries. I had the supper special and my brother had dry ribs with ceasar salad both came with garlic toast . All in all it was good and no complaints.

Bone in the Pizza. We purchased two x-large pizzas, on Sunday March 26, 2013. One of the pizzas was a spaghetti pizza. We did not consume both pizzas at the restaurant, and subsequently took the remaining pieces home. That evening my son took a piece and bit into a large bone, that was placed under the cheese. I returned to the restaurant the next day, and the staff denied responsibility for the bone, and went on to explain that if the discovery had been made at the restaurant that evening than that would indicate that they were guilty and would assume responsibility. My family and I have been frequenting this restaurant for years, and I expected a more suitable response. As a result we will not be spending any more money or time at this restaurant.

DOWNHILL. Tonight my husband thought it would be nice to take me out for supper for my birthday. We go to the Greek House about teice a yr for different occasions , we used to go there more often. The waitress was friendly enough however the food this time around was so bad it wasn’t worth paying for , to start with my nachos arrived cold and with grated cheese not melted cheese and were sent back. There was a piece of rotten tomato on them. My Calamari was like eating a rubber band (I love Calamari btw) the garlic toast if you can call it that was bland and his ribs were overcooked, he ordered his with tossed salad no tomato and got a huge piece of tomato all in all terrible experience. . Don’t know whats up with this place but Venice House was better by far before the name change. We mentioned the issues to the hosstess and were not even offered compensation of any kind, DO NOT EAT HERE!
