Pleasantly surprised by this place! As a bunch of white people who know nothing about Korean food, we ordered a couple of different dishes not knowing what to expect. We got chicken and rice, which was spicy but super good, a beef hot pot, and a seasoned pork shoulder that they cooked for us on our table and came with 6 different sides. Dishes here are meant to be shared between at least 2 people as they are large portions. Everything was very flavourful. I would definitely go back and explore more of the menu.
I stopped in one evening after work as I had been by this place a hundred times and it always caught my eye. I ordered the Korean short rib dish which came on a hot plate. There were approximately 8 short ribs with sauted onions on the plate. The dish came with 6 small sides consisting of steamed rice, Kimchi, nuts, seaweed and sweet potatoes as well as a tofu type of dish.I felt the ribs could have been a bit more tender than they were, however they were tasty. The side dishes were all fresh and good and I ate most of them as I was curious to how they tasted, but Im just not really into those kinds of dishes.I also feel that the dish was a little on the pricey side for what I got, as it cost $25.00 for myself for supper!Im willing to return however and explore the menu further.
