Edit: October 2017: Tried some Indian dishes, samosas, chaat papri, Manchuria, and vegetarian fried rice. Once again from my last review, EVERYTHING WAS SO SALTY. Now that Ive tried a wide variety of food I can say this place is not good at all. Do not recommend. This place had a groupon deal and it gave me an opportunity to try out their food! I ordered chicken tandoori pizza and buffalo wings. The chicken on the pizza was a bit salty. I really liked their pizza crust and would try a different kind next time. They have a lot of Indian flavour pizza! The chicken wings were unfortunately not tasty. It lacked flavour. Not enough sauce. Didn’t even enjoy the so-called buffalo sauce. I don’t think it was buffalo sauce. It tasted like some type of Indian curry with turmeric. Too bad, I really wanted wings that night.
Pizza bite is an amazing take away. I have tried almost all their pizzas and thanks to their wonderful staff I’ve never been disappointed by their service. You rock guys. Thanks
Pizza Bite is in a location that is tricky to see. It is on 22nd Street and Ave G N, behind the Taco Time. When we first went to Pizza Bite, we were overwhelmed by the selection. The prices are very reasonable. Not being adventurous we ordered a pepperoni and pineapple. We found it very tasty, the sauce is unique. It’s disappointing that there are not very many toppings, including cheese, but it is tasty. Since that day we have tried a few of their pizzas and have not been disappointed. We also tried the samosas, also good. We are thinking about starting at the top of the menu, working our way down to the end of their menu.
If you like Indian food, you can simply not miss out on this one! Pizzas are very flavorful unlike the bland cheese-on-top-of-crust sold by several franchises. The paneer tikka and tandoori chicken pizza topped my list. Just tried their samosa chat and tikki chat and tasted so much like the street food I would indulge in back home. I guess they are the first ones in the city to bring a decent variety of Indian street food on the menu. Their shahi paneer and butter chicken too taste authentic. Really hope they continue the good work and bring more items on the menu.
Had the punjabi style veg pizza, it was really good. It gave an authentic indian taste, perfect blend of spices. Neva imagined a pizza could taste like that. Pop and small pizza for 6$ a really good deal.
This is a fairly new pizza place. Located on 22nd street just behind Taco Time. This is a take out delivery place only. It took quite some time for me to decide what to order as there are some very interesting options. Butter Chicken add paneer and mushrooms. The sauce has a little kick to it. The chicken was tasty. I have never had paneer on pizza but must say it was actually pretty darn good. The Canadian minus pineapple was ok but had shredded ham. I am not a fan of shredded meat. It was alright. I much preferred the butter chicken though. Kid had pepperoni 8 inch deal. Must have enjoyed it because normally she wouldn’t have eaten that much. I will go back to try some of the other interesting options they have.
