I like this place, however their hours are bad. And the place seems to be really busy when it does open, so make sure to phone in to learn about their hours and make a reservation before you head out. I would not say that they have a huge variety of food you can pick from. However, I love their soup, it is very hearty and sweet with beets! The pickled herrings and the headcheese is absolutely delicious! There are also a cheese plate and the cabbage rolls, it was really good also. I generally like the food in the buffet, including the chicken and some other things that I don’t know the name of (forgot). The only food I don’t quite like are the perogies. The service is absolutely friendly, the server and the owner was very nice. They come out and greet their customers! The older lady was so nice to explain what the food was called to me. I also like the atmosphere! It made me feel very comfortable being here. The price is 25 per person for the buffet. Overall, for my first time for Ukrainian food. I enjoyed the food they served and in the future, if I am craving Ukrainian food, I will come back.

Garbage. Anyone who knows Ukrainian food will realize this restaurant serves garbage. The food is totally tasteless. I wouldn’t feed my dog this crap if I had a dog. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. How they can put this stuff out for someone to eat is beyond me. By far the worst food I have tasted. Ukrainian or not. And I am Ukrainian so I know what I am talking about.

Amazing Caterers!. We had them cater a wedding of 250 people. All of their staff came up to us and congratulated us on our marriage. They came and organized the buffet tables and then called tables up to the buffet lines. It went so smoothly and we had many many people compliment us on the food. Thank you for a wonderful job!!

A poor representation of Ukrainian cuisine.

The buffet is small but very very good. It feels like home

If you have the craving. The food is an embarrassment to Ukrainian cooking. However there are really no viable sit down alternatives for Ukrainian food in Saskatoon – which is in itself highly unusual given the demographics. If you have a craving and can’t have the real thing at home then this is it. Most won’t know better so this option continues to work.

Good food. Hours are horrible though.
