Was in the neighbourhood so grabbed some food to go. It was 1:30 and had 2 tables at the time. From what I observed the restaurant was clean. I ordered a dinner for one and am order of pork dumplings. I was told it would be 10-15 minutes. When I returned I was told it would be just a few more minutes as they were making me fresh dumplings. I substituted chicken balls as I gave a shell fish allergy and they were very accommodating. The chicken balls were crisp in the outside with a decent chick to batter ratio.Fried rice I’ve had better. It was a little disappointing to see the only veg was onion and peas. I only ate a few bites of it. The sweet and sour pork was ok but a little dry. The best part was the sweet and sour sauce. It wasn’t overly sweet like some other places. Beef chop suey was quite good, lots of bean sprouts but I was ok with that as I enjoy them. Pork dumplings were pretty good. I wasn’t overly fond of the sauce that came with it, so ate them plain. So much food I have lunch for tomorrow. If in the area I’d probably go back.
Great Chinese! Have been here a few times with family. Great ginger beef and awesome deep fried wontons. Decor is a little dated, but service is always quick!

Very unimpressed. I went into the restaurant hungry, but after a few bites I decided to stop eating. I realized that the food I was served was at least a couple hours old. It was cold, stale, and started to make me feel sick. Then I decided to read reviews and the old food seems to be common here. Tell me, who wants to spend money at an expensive Chinese restaurant just to find out that the cheap bastards won’t even cook it fresh for you. It was tempting to just get up and leave without paying for that crap. I will never eat at that restaurant again, nor will I recommend it.The only good thing about it, was the server was polite. That’s it.
Tired and old. This is the equivalent of a small town dinner. Not much imagination. Service is friendly. Meat quality is the lowest grade you can find. Restaurant is in need of renovations and a cleaning top to bottom. Have a look around. In particular the salt and pepper shakers and the chipping paint on the walls. Food is Americanized versions of oriental. Just going through the motions. Like a time warp back to the 80’s. If you are looking for questionable retro Chinese food, this is your spot. Not for me however.
Loved the athmosphere. Willing to accommodate you on how you like your food. Very friendly server.
Vegetarian options are limited. The lunch menu has nothing at all but if you ask they will accommodate. They made me the most awesome veggie noodle bowl. That’s all I had and I left really full. Service is really quick and they check on you just the right amount of times through out the meal. It’s clean, small and quaint. I will be returning!!
