I am a chow hound for all ethnic food… especially Indian… I have had Indian buffets all over Canada and spicy time is my favourite… the freshest food Ive encountered… extremely flavourful and a wide variety…. nothing is too spicy… if you love Indian food or are on the fence then go visit spicy time on 8th street…. hands down the best in Saskatoon
Everything was fresh and savoury and there are tons of vegan options. The service was excellent and very friendly. This is in my top 10 favourite restaurants in Saskatoon. They have the BEST coconut rice.

This place is kind of out of the way for me so Ive only eaten their food when they have a booth set up at an event, but I really like their Chana masala. Its more tomatoey which is how I prefer it. Ive missed the Chana masala at Taj Majal since it closed years back. Spicy times comes in a close second. I find this dish to vary greatly at Indian/Punjabi restaurants. Probably kind of like how everyone makes borscht different depending what precise area their family was from. Anyway, Ive had some versions of Chana masala that were very beige, and the flavour was almost kind of fishy which is not my preference.
Came and had the buffet, beautiful and amazing food! Very well kept restaurant, friendly and quick! Highly recommend trying this if you have not!
