We checked out this truck as the menu seemed appealing. Bao’s which were called pork ginger buns were ok….except when my husband ate his, half of it was rock hard -what a waste of money, we had to throw it out. We got the salted caramel chocolate chips which I was pumped to taste but they were just plain ripple chips with chocolate drizzled on them with soggy spots where there was home made caramel. The best thing we ordered were the tacos. They were tasty…a little hard to eat after a few minutes as the middle just fell through the corn tortilla. All in all, I thought it was a good idea to taste the menu but I wouldn’t go back. We waited a good 15 minutes to order and there were maybe 4 people infront of us.
I finally got the chance to try the treats from Snak at Saskatoon Park(ing) Day on 20th, after hearing about it from a fellow foodie. Love the truck concept! I tried the black bean tacos and hibiscus tea. Both delicious and fairly priced. The tacos came beautifully presented and tasted even better. The tea was unlike any tea ive tasted before. A little tart and full of hibiscus and berry flavor. Looking forward to more Snak treats in the near future. Yay food trucks!
