This place is excellent but out of the way. I’m glad that I made the trip to get to it because it was very impressive. This is hidden gem of Saskatoon.The dishes are spicy and full of flavour. The flavours are well balanced and I’m really pleased to say that its spicy without being so overwhelmingly hot you can’t taste the flavour. The portion sizing is perfect for one person. The pakora was the best I’ve had in Saskatoon. I had the lamb pahadi and butter naan which were both very good. Since dosa was also on the menu I had to try one and was not disappointed. Very crisp like they should be.I went back for the lunch special which was excellent and very good deal at $10.
The only place in Saskatoon to have dishes from other perts of India. Has a lot more to offer than curry and naan. Just love going there when Im craving some warm comfort food. The dahi puri is to die fo, and idli/dosa is just amazing! Plus the owner makes some amazing and one of a kind jewellery.
My Favourite restaurant for Indian food in town! Food is DELICIOUS but also very subtle, it leaves you feeling full but not heavy! I always order cheese corn fritters along with a masala dosa. The ambience of the place is nice and comfortable. The hosts are VERY gracious too, always willing to tailor the dish to suit us better!
