One of the worst experiences. Reservations for 7. A birthday celebration. Waitress was slow, food was cold. Sent 3 dishes back then sent plate back a plate and refused to eat it. No apology, nothing. NO TIP! Very pricey for the quality. Well never go back!!!
May not be the prettiest belle at the ball, but if you are lucky enough to be there on a day when a woman named Lynn is in the kitchen you will get to enjoy a great meal…the woman can cook!
What a disappointment! My boyfriend & I chose Bliss for our 7 year anniversary supper last night & that was a mistake. The server was awesome but the food was dry & overcooked. We tried the Salmon & Short ribs in phyllo….both OVERDONE. Potatoes tasted like they were heated up in the microwave. What a waste of our money. We won’t return to Bliss. There’s much better restaurants in town.
The servers seemed rushed even though it is obvious they are trying not to appear to be. It makes me wonder if they’re short-staffed when I was there. Prices are on the high side which is fine but you can really notice a mark up on some items like the mac and cheese. I went with the bison burger which was very good. The patty was juicy and I liked the mushroom slices on it. There was an okay wine selection but as much variety as I expected given what reviews of it had led me to expect about the place.
This restaurant is overrated. I trusted the Internet too much when choosing this restaurant for our 20th anniversary and the celebration of our friends marriage. It lacked atmosphere, no character, poor service, poor wine list, uninformed server, food was good but not spectacular and certainly not the best in town by any stretch. But what really made the grade for me is that we were told that we would have to leave by 8 for another table. That has never happened to me ever. If Bliss wants to live up to their internet reputation, they have to do better than this. Disappointing and embarrassing to my guests.
Outstanding Eats!. I love this place, and almost always suggest it when deciding where to done out. I find myself craving their gorgeous Wellington and rarely order anything but. Great appetizers, drinks and remarkable desserts, though I have to cram it in after the first two courses… Not a huge selection but what they do, they do extremely well. On Broadway – get a reservation to this popular and always busy spot.
We went to Bliss for the first time in our anniversary. I have been all over the world and have tried some of the best food out there. Bliss makes the cut on my top 5. The service was good, the food even better! It was a little pricy but nothing so good could be any cheaper. You get what you pay for. Highly recommend.
