Pretty good. Don’t recommend the hush puppies if you think the jalapenos will kick it up. They were bland and served with marinara style dip. Pleasantly surprised and will return.

The food, the atmosphere, the staff … everything here is so good. My boyfriend and I had some fabulous 9 Mile beer to start (for a cocktail place, their beer selection is pretty good) which paired awesome with our appetizer – we got the sampler platter, which was delicious. It was perfect for the two of us but would have maybe been a little small for a group of 4 of more. I had ribs which were on special – got a GIGANTIC portion of ribs that I didnt even come close to finishing (which was great because I love leftovers) and they were soooo good. Boyfriend had the Picnic Platter – it is HUGE. We easily could have split it. It came with fried chicken, ribs, potato salad and slaw, a scone, and corn coblettes. The fried chicken, which I sampled of course, was amazing – some of the best Ive had anywhere ! My only gripe with this place is the tables on the bench seating side of the restaurant are so uncomfortable – the giant table bases really make for an awkward leg situation. Every time Im here I somehow end up at these tables and leave with sore legs from awkwardly tucking them the whole time. Other than that – its flawless, one of Saskatoons best !!

Bon Temps for breakfast.. it couldn’t have been much better. My wife ordered the brisket benny while I tried the NOLA. Each plate came with two, so we decided to share. I love the fact that they come served on biscuits rather than English muffins. It is a bit more absorbent and soaks up the excess egg yolk and hollandais. The room itself is quite nice. The walls are decorated with murals while the ceiling is metal tiles. I understand the dinner menu is interesting as well. We may just need to try it out before we head home in a few days.

Amazing food! Amazing atmosphere! The live music (Tuesday evenings) was a fantastic feature and really made for a fun night out. The food did take a bit longer to arrive, but this isnt a fast food joint and people are here to enjoy a night out, so order appies if youre starving. Overall excellent experience!

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary supper on Saturday night. It was around a 45 minute wait to get in, but it was worth it! We ordered the sampler for an appetizer, the picnic platter and the chicken & waffles. The drinks were delicious too, the sangria was sweet and the old fashioned was strong. Our waiter Dakota was knowledgeable about the menu items and was very friendly throughout. Would love to come back here and try more of their seafood.

great place to eat and check out the bluegrass brunch on Sundays. The place has really good atmosphere, good service. Also the points system is great and you get coupons on birthdays and anniversaries.

New Orleans my ass.Had high expectations with reviews from other sites, disappointed to say the least. Not sure where people get most creative decor around, it is alright, but nothing mind blowing. Food though was very poor, why you go there. Table of six, almost everyone was not pleased. I have been to New Orleans and they would rather go through another Hurricane Katrina then hear this place is trying to pass off Cajun food… Crab cakes didn’t know was eating crab cakes, thin, could have been potatoes, hush puppies, which say are signature were at best average, seafood creole had next to no seafood, and over powered by tomato, there was spice to it (Not Cajun though and pretty much the only thing that did). Most of all the food was luke warm at best to cold…Never had warm water with no ice at a restaurant in many years , but that day everyone did. all corn was the worst corn ever had, soggy old, disgusting…Someone order a steak not impressed small, not overly tasty. No one had anything good to say about what they were eating! The topper was someone ordered the brisket which was small, half fat, and cold, they asked if they could order something else, and were told they ordered it basically they had to pay for it,lol. In any case would never come back, not sure why people give it a decent rating sad to trick others. p.s Bathrooms were below average sanitation wise and had no paper towels or hand dryer.
