This is an up-scale chain which the food and prices reflect. The food is standard and well done. Good flavour and not too heavy on the salt. The service is good and very unobtrusive. I give it an extra .5 for the really perfect atmosphere. Heavy and quiet with the feeling you are tucked away at your table. It’s a huge almost cavernous main room that has a lot to absorb sound so it’s very quiet. I go here a lot because it is quiet relatively to other similar places.

(Happy Hour is between 3-6)We enjoyed a few 18oz Rhino pints for $5.00 each, dry ribs for $7.00 as well as a few chicken and fish tacos for $2.75 each!We also ordered their Dynamite Rolls, which were pretty good too.I think the Happy Hour menu is a great deal!
We come here regularly and are always satisfied! Mostly we order the Santa Fee Chicken salad as it is just perfect! The kids love the burgers (the boys beef burgers, our daughter the vegetarian option) and the fries are great!Yes we sometime had the case that they brought something wrong or forgot about things like ‘no dates on the salad please’ but ALWAYS made it up after apologizing a hunded times.The only thing why 0.5 points are missing on the rating is that we would love to have more changes on the menue, more features.
This place is alright. I do come here quite a bit because I live close. Last time I went with a friend we got seated at our table and it seriously took 25 min for someone to come take our drink order. This was after I had to grab a server. Food is not bad. Customer service is hit and miss.
I love Earl’s. But this location is not my favourite. I have been here twice. Each time the servers appeared as they had better things to do. The clientele seemed to be a little on the snotty side. Which is not the establishments fault. But is the reason we don’t frequent here more often.
The ribs have a very good tangy sauce. I was impressed with the hot potato salad. Interesting, new way to add pizzazz to a potato side. Yummy creamy sauce and toasty, roasty potatoes. Although, my partner’s chicken fettuccine was disappointing. The chicken tasted like it was microwaved (rubbery) and the sauce was water consistency.
Went out forsome cheap beer, pleasantly surprised with the $3 sleeves of beer on several nights each week. All I seek out, in addition to some good beer, is a veggie burger and fries. Great fries, great burger fixings, but less impressed with the smokey flavour on the veggie patty. Would have been amazing if they weren’t trying to cater to a meat-missing crowd. I’d go back for the patio and cheap beer, might just order fries on their own next time (or the veggie pizza loaded with garlicky truffle oil).
