Way too loud, my seating area smelt like an old airplane and my honey garlic wings had next to no trace of garlic.At least the service was attentive and friendly, all things considered.
I couldn’t decide what to rate this because the food is great but the atmosphere isn’t very good because it’s loud and the patrons seem to enjoy making it louder. I’m rating on the food not the atmosphere. I try to come only during midweek lunches because it’s a better atmosphere. The burgers are big and the patties have a subtle spicy taste. The Maple BBQ is my favourite. The shepard’s pie is also good because it’s more filling than pastry always a plus for me!
An interesting after work crowd on a mid week early evening with business people of different ages and casual patrons. Just had the wings and they were quite good. Really good happy hour specials. Service was attentive. Can get a bit loud in there if you’re trying to have a conversation.
Fries and gravy are really good. I typically only come here at lunch on weekdays because they have a great deal on steak sandwiches – recommended. Service is good enough but the atmosphere is a little weird: Generic Canadian wilderness decor mixed with extremely short skirts at 12PM on a weekday – I don’t get it or maybe I’m just using this place wrong.
I usually avoid Hudson’s because of the crowds/atmosphere, but I have to admit that I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed the food. On my latest venture I had the Gruyere and mushroom burger and sweet potato fries. Fries were delicious and so was the dipping sauce. My burger was the best burger I’ve had in a while, pretty phenomenal.
We went for a girls nite out for supper and paint nite that hudsons is hosting in Monday nights. All 8 of us had great meals! My beef dip was excellent, and the house salad ahhmazing. It will be a go to from now on. Only minor complaint was the loudness of the music.
Came for late supper at 8:30 on a Tuesday. The homeBrew beers are tasty. Had the lumberjack lager. Also had a massive Canadian burger… Holy Hanna it was deliciousAnd filling :). Louise was the server and she was par for the course. Friendly, knowledgable and kind of funny :)Will be back!~! Came hungry…. Left satisfied!Not Louise:…. Lauren, sweet woman
