Cute, cozy little bar just off Broadway. Always have a great time here! Been here multiple times and have never left disappointed! The good is always awesome and the service it spectacular! 10/10 would recommend!
Service was good. Food was alright. I had mushroom burger and fries. If I’m getting picky, I wish the burger itself had more seasoning and fries were larger — they’re shoestring fries.
Menu looked great. Only seating available was on the high bar stool kind of chairs, tiny tables with room for 3 people at most. They should post pics of the inside on their site so groups of four don’t end up looking forward to going there.
Finally got over to Leopolds for lunch today. We had been in the location with the previous tenants so were hoping there would be a table as it is a smaller space that what we get used to with the big chains. We lucked out and got a table by the windows(Broadway area always good for people watching). It was steady but not over crowded. Friendly greeting from bartender advising us to sit anywhere. Our server was a really friendly, prompt girl. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer any questions we had. Our appy of deep fried Buffalo Cauliflower was really good… not too spicy. We just had coffee/tea but the adult beverages looked like they were well made and going out quickly. For mains I had the Donair with the kettle fries and my spouse had the Baja Chicken wrap with yam fries. Everything was delicious and nice sized portions. We did take some food home(I was impressed that the to go containers were brought out to us with an explanation that they take their cleanliness very seriously and so food does not go back in to the kitchen to be boxed up as it has now been partially eaten). The menu has a great selection that anyone could find something to their liking. Deep fried to healthy options. The space is very clean and really interesting things every where you could possibly look. A few large tv’s if you want to be watching a sporting event. Will return for sure. Wishing great success to this tavern.(Forgot to take pictures…. was hungry).
Cozy space; comfortable, but not a place you would want to bring a group of more than four. Service is super attentive. Tuesday is taco night: lots of options and $3 each. I thought they were really good. Tried the Mahi mahi, beef, chicken, and pulled pork tacos.
We have gone here two weekends in a row because we enjoyed it so much. They have amazing food, drinks, service and atmosphere. Their drinks are reasonably priced and the Leo’s Lager is really enjoyable as well, only $6 for 20oz! The Montreal smoked meat is so so good. The restaurant is small so be prepared to wait , but order a drink and sit at the bar and wait for a table for a little bit. It’s worth it. We look forward to trying more of the menu the next time we go!
