This is a solid pick if you are stuck at the mall around lunchtime. I have had a few choices but the best is the lamb gyro. Pita is soft, lamb is well seasoned and really appreciate the chopped jalapeno as an option for a topping. I like my tzatziki sauce a bit less runny but that is just getting picky. Order the lamb.
Opa is one of my go to places when shopping. Calamari is nice and crispy but still get creeped out by th tentacles. Eww always give those away. Souvlaki is always good.
Great place. Love the food here. Always fresh. Very healthy food in comparison to other vendors in the food court. I always get the chicken souvlaki and Greek salad. The meat is grilled and not processed and the salad is full of fresh tomatoes cucumbers and green peppers. The staff are always frendly and happy. Opa midtown: two thumbs up!
Yeah it’s not bad…. It’s in Midtown Plaza food court, so you get that whole ‘experience’ if you eat here. The food is fine. It’s cooked up in a relative hurry on the flat grill by unenthusiastic employees, who seem to hate their jobs. The Opa! Fries are about as unhealthy a snack as you can get, unless of course you choose to have that with a side of tzatziki sauce, which I can personally guarantee is one of the worst things you could ever eat. If you’re looking for a healthy alternative, don’t look here. The meats they use are about as healthy as it gets there, and they’re salty as can be. The bread is white, the salads are covered in sauce and cheese, and the fries are, well, fries. In spite of everything I just said, I don’t mind eating here every once in awhile. The food might be bad for you, but it’s pretty scrumptious and relatively inexpensive.
Yummy greek fries. I cannot not order the fries when i go. I also love the calamari and the chicken souvalaki pita.
