Went here for my birthday supper and it was absaloutely amazing! I love how they cook in front of you and the traditional setting and how they serve you was very neat to experience! The food was amazing and so was the service, pricey but so worth it!
Last night my wife and i went to the Samurai restaurant at the Delta Bessbourough in Saskatoon. We generally frequent this restaurant a couple times a year on special occasions as it has always been one of our favourite restaurants in all of Saskatoon. Upon arrival, the manager was having a conversation with the steward about a booking issue. Apparently there was an overbooking issue. Our reservations were for 5:30pm. I asked if this was an issue, and they said no worries, we will figure it out. We ended up sitting at a table for half an hour by ourselves until others arrived, so it appeared that they just moved us to a 6pm table. Would have been nice for an explanation, or an applogy but none was received. I always order the ShoGun meal when i attend which is steak and lobster. Last night, the quality of the meal itself was no where near where it has been in the past. The lobster is usually crisp and succulent. Last night, it was soft and seemed to have a weird coating on it. The steak is usually melt in your mouth delicious. Last night the steak was nothing special. The cut of beef for the ShoGun has always been a higher grade beef tenderloin. Last night, it tasted like a sirloin and was slightly over done.Even the waitress was unattentive, forgot our hot wash clothes to start the evening, and did not even ask us if we wanted desert. We were very dissapointed with our experience, and I do not think we will chance going back again. Very dissapointing.
Such a fancy place for celebration or anniversary, a little bit expensive, but you get lots of food, and the chef would cook at front of you and they would also make fun play tricks with you. I like it, came this place twice for my birthday, only bad thing is waiting too long for our chef approach to our table because there’s only couple chefs there.
Well, Teppanyaki should be sort of luxury Japanese food. However this outlet make this more like an acrobat with low quality food. The cooking show looks fancy, but the beef steak looked even cheaper than the on-sale steak at superstore. The food is over priced for the show.
Meh, seems like a lot of hype to me. It wasn’t bad or anything and we got a decent amount of food but it was nothing spectacular and there weren’t a lot of menu options. Everything was relatively flavourless, I feel bad saying this though because our chef and server were really great.
Just not worth it. I love the scallops more than any place,but doesn’t make up for missed beef (all orders). Add up everything, not Worth any money paid. Poor management. Stay away
It was over 5 years since we were last there and we’ll be back sooner next time! Had a great time with great food and a great experience.
