One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Small venue, and quiet on a Sunday night was just what we wanted for an intimate dinner. I had the special: coconut ginger salmon with basmati rice and root veggies. Light curry and lime flavours throughout. As well we tried the smoked pork tomato base soup. Very good. Husband had their torttier, which they claim tone famous for. He was impressed as well. Price was what I was expecting, and the serving size was good, balanced and definitely enough. Great service. No complaints at all.
We return to this restaurant a few times per year. Best restaurant in the city. Clean, fine dining, classy music, excellent decor. The owners know how to provide an authentic experience. Big franchise restaurants make you feel like cattle, this place makes you feel like a guest, like you’re appreciated. Ingredients are rich and of great quality. Never disappointed. Pork tenderloin is flawless.
OMG! This is a Trooper restaurant; 3 dressed up at a 9! If you’re from Smuts it’s classy. Diner food at a gourmet price. Give me a break. My recommendation is that they open the St. Tropez hotdog cart and be honest with what they’ve got to offer. Hey, you don’t agree with me? How about 7 people at 7:00. Enough said.
Worst Ever. I picked this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with the girls… So bad don’t recommend. They knew that was a party for 15 people and half of their menu was not available…. very disappointing. The food was average, for sure not for a fine restaurant. Did pay about 70$ per person but no one was happy with their meal. Don’t ever go there to eat…. Please
All around good experiance!. I took my girlfriend there for valentine’s day dinner and i would have to say the whole experience was excellent from the food to the service. It was exactly what I was looking for atmosphere wise. This place is a hidden gem in my books and I will definitely be going there again when looking for a classy place.
Delicious. Loved the atmosphere. The food was excellent. Great for a special occasion or romantic dinner
Nom nom nom. Delicious but I think I may cook too much myself as I could have made my meal at home easy peasy (Chicken Dijon). The hub loved his fillet, cooked to perfection. Recommended to the hilt. The waiter was brilliant and the restaurant itself is lovely.
