I don’t like to give such low ratingsbut for the quality of the services and price it is warranted.First the service, when we first arrived it was not that busy, maybe four tables. We made the mistake of telling the server we were not in a rush, we didn’t expect that to mean being forgot about . It should be noted the server was not rude but no quality to the service. Wewere regularly waiting for drinks or having to ask and the topper was when the wine came having to open the bottle ourselves. When we said we were not in a rush we didn’t expect to wait 30-45 mins between courses and be at the restaurant for three plus hours. When we asked for a little faster service the server said she was waiting on the kitchen. What is there to wait on, everything should be prepared before hand and we are cooking the food, what is there to wait on?The food itself was average, we could do it at home forunder half the cost, for the price there are a lot better options in Saskatoon.
I’m just not very enthused by this place. I really like the idea but the way it is done just isn’t working for me. The service is really slow without reason. The fondues are very uneven in terms of both quality and temperature. The dippers are ok but again uneven quality.
I really didn’t care for Ufondue. The traditional Swiss cheese fondue was terrible. It had too much of a wine taste. It took quite a while to even receive our fondue. I thought that was strange since it is not a difficult process and there were only 2 couples in the restaurant. The bread did not taste very fresh either. For the high price, it’s not worth it. Even for a low price it isn’t worth it! I may give this place another try for a chocolate fondue, but for everything else I am not coming back.
Great. Excellent service, good portions, and very individual and unique dining room. I really love fondue now and will, be trying it at home.
Alright but expensive and worst service we have had in a long time. Had a 9:15 Rez last night for four, we got there and were told it was going to be a little wait…A manager? directed us to wait in the lounge and asked the waitress to get us a drink, we waited in the lounge for over 30 minutes, the waitress then took our drink order but shortly after we were taken to our table where we waited another 20 minutes for our drinks to even get to our table, the soup we ordered was colder then room temp, we sent it back and it came back exactly the same, we were almost ignored the entire night and overall had really bad service, seeing that everything took so long to happen during the meal we were there late, like 12:30ish and they actually seemed annoyed that we took so long, the bill for the four of us came to almost $400, and for the service that we received that is really just a disappointment. We won’t be returning to this restaurant.
U fondue. Eh! Certainly not a high lite in Saskatoon. Very average food unless you count the Salad!
Food was good. Dips need better selection ..service not good. Waitress never gave us plates. We had to use saucer plates for all the courses .. no fork ..had to use the same fondue fork ..which was very hot in dipping in the chocolate
