Terrible service! Slow, inattentive and forgetful. Meals were alright, but not good by any means and the portions were so small for the price charged. I felt absolutely humiliated that I took my guests from out of town to this restaurant. Even after complaining to the manager the service was still awful, so I don’t think there’s any hope for this place. I will not be returning.
What a treat. Excellent service from the minute I walked in to the moment I left, which followed to the quality of the meal. It took some serious restraint to not lick the plate at the end. It’s somewhat disappointing to relearn as an adult that you get what you pay for; but well worth the price tag here. Tasty cocktails too – great for date night. Would visit again
A nice dinner with good service. I had the fish special, which was a Snapper; served with al dente veggies and rice. The Mrs had the bouillabaisse; good reports. The space is new, fresh and bright. It was busy on a Thursday evening at 7. Dinner with wine, a shared appetizer and shared desert clocked in at $150.
This place is higher class dining for Regina and find the food better than the Diplomat or Golfs .. lots of wine and Stella on tap when I want to stop in for a quick pintI heard the rooftop patio will be opening June 3rd on the 20th floor, he expects it to be the place to go friday after work will have drink and appy specials, and Saturday 6PM to midnight
We had been wanting to go here for quite a while when we finally found a time to go. We made a reservation which was not needed as there were only two tables being occupied in the whole establishment including our own. The restaurant is a good edition to downtown with a clean, modern atmosphere not to mention the valet parking that is included. We had the Spanish Paella and the Pistachio Chicken. Both had great flavours and were a good portion but a little over priced. Our favourite part of the entire meal were the cream cheese bacon beignets that were served with the chicken – they are to die for (definitely recommended). For a starter we tried the Scallops, which I wouldn’t recommend. For $15 you only get 3 scallops and they were mediocre tasting.
We’ve been twice in the past 2 months and it is the most consistent restaurant in Regina; scallops are perfection and the steak tips are a salty meaty treat. Twice now, the lamb sirloin has been very tender and flavorful. A little surprised the menu hadn’t changed up since late May, the wines by the glass could be expanded a bit and desserts were fine but not as good as the appetizers and the entrees (although the creme brle was plated beautifully). The only other thing I would say is, an extra dry martini means less vermouth NOT more…restaurants in Regina seem to have a real problem with that concept.
We stopped in on a Friday night on a tour of the city. The environment looks more formal than a casual dining experience. They chose an interesting color palette for the decor. Turquoise and navy blue represent this establishment. We ordered the Beignets as a starter. What we liked: they used bacon in two different ways, it’s on a bed of flavorful greens and we enjoyed the crunchy outside texture with a creamy inside. The next time we come here I think we would dress more appropriate (not looking like we just came from the beach, essentially) and would make a formal date out of it.
