We went for a family meal. Most of the food looked pretty good. I ordered a salad. The salad itself was ok but it had some brown mushy stuff in it that I thought was canned tuna. Then I remembered it was called Farmhouse Chicken Salad. I thought the salad was ok but the chicken was horrible. I would go back if someone else wanted to go there but I wouldn’t choose it myself. I thought it was too expensive. My husband had a burger which looked good.

Had dinner her last week. We got there when the restaurant was empty and by the time we left it was pretty much full. We were seated right next to where the waitresses bring the food out and key in the tables orders, it was very loud and not at all what we expected. The food was very good, but our waitress seemed occupied and in a rush- yet we were some of the only people in the restaurant? The French onion soup was delicious and the smoked rib-eye steak was cooked perfectly. I would return here, but not anytime soon. I liked the food, I just thought the overall experience wasn’t that special.

Came here with friends for a business dinner. Atmosphere is nice, service was excellent, friendly staff made the dinner fun. Food was good. I had the Fillet Mignon because they advertised the 1800F grill being so good. It was good but not great. Another reviewer mentioned for the $$, Golf’s serves up a better steak. I agree. One of the steaks had a big piece of fat and grizzle running through it. My buddy who eats everything, couldn’t eat it. They did offer a replacement but it was too late for that. Meat has grizzle, luck of the draw, I guess. The Wasabi mashed potatoes were excellent. The deserts were excellent as well!

Overpriced Food in Small PortionsDon’t get me wrong, the restaurant is nice but that’s about the only good thing that I can say about it. The food is SERIOUSLY expensive. There is almost nothing below $25 bucks for an entree. Add on the drinks and you’re looking at $40-$50 bucks a head. But it’s steak isn’t even the best in the city so it isn’t worth it.Truly, go to your classic Diplomat or Goff’s. Don’t waste your time here.

Are there last night and the service wasn’t that great. We saw the waitress for the other tables more then ours and had to ask to have some our dishes removed. Also ordered two people ordered well done steaks and when received them they weren’t. Took a while to get our waitress to come back to send back. Time we got them back everyone else was done their meals (yes they offer something else in the mean time but they just wanted their meals – one being a kids meal). When got new dishes the kids meal still wasn’t cooked to well done. So she just shared with her mom. Very disappointed for the price you pay.

Went there after the rider game yesterday. Came in and it wasn’t busy at all. First impression wasn’t great. The hostess got us seated and asked us a question and left as we were answering. Then we waited quite a while, while others were helped multiple times. BUT the server came and gave us free drinks and was excellent from there on out. We ordered the mushrooms with escargot and the lobster dip. For dessert we had the raspberry, white chocolate creme brle and the fallen chocolate souffls cake. Drinks were excellent as well. Will be back and very happy the place corrected their mistake in a classy way, completely turned around the night.

Went for lunch here and was really impressed! This is a great addition to the local dining scene. Reminds me of the Keg, though it is definitely not a clone of it. Initially, I was a bit skeptical because I thought it would be one of those snooty steakhouses. Well, it’s not at all. Good atmosphere, good service, and good food. I also like the option of having a dessert sampler. I will be back.
