This is one of the most enjoyable places to go for an after-dinner drink. Their desserts are also pretty good. Their pizzas are very respectable with a traditional crust although their spicy pizza had an excessive number of hot peppers. Their burger is good. I did not like their mortadella sandwich; a bit too plane Jane for me. Some of the cocktails are excellent.
Changed the name to Circa 27, moved the bar and changed the lighting and menu, all for the bad in my view. Had a clubhouse. Wanted lager chips (they do serve them with the tartare) and was told they are portioned out for the tartare and so I couldn’t have em. The club house was a single on bread not toasted enough. Have had much better clubhouses at say the Husky. Friend’s pizza was just ok. Service was slow but polite. More expensive and poorer food. Oh well. I liked the Monarch Lounge.
Excellent Ambience & Food. The place has great ambience, and the food is quite good. Service is excellent. It’s a great place to meet & greet and relax with a drink and an exceptionally good fast menu.
