The food in our order from Dewdney Garden ranged from great to inedible. The sweet and sour chicken balls were exceptionally good; some of the best I’ve ever had. The fried rice was very good. The egg rolls were average. The chop suey was okay, but it was almost entirely bean sprouts, which is not what I expect chop suey to be (but perhaps that’s because I’m from the west coast and some Chinese dishes are made differently there; I’m not sure if chop suey is one that’s usually different or if this was unusual). I really only knew it was chop suey by process of elimination. I ended up mixing it with the rice to make it more palatable. The last item, shrimp low mein, was really not good at all. The texture was kind of gummy, the shrimp was tough, and it smelled way too strongly fishy for a shrimp dish. We threw it out.

SO GOOD!. Such good food & reasonable pricing. this place is underated, the service is fast & it always comes nice and warm. the chicken fried rice is the best in the city, hands down
Addictively good takeout. Their food is pretty much the best when it comes chinese-style takeout food. I’m a big fan of their meat dishes. But for me the best item is their shrimp fresh rolls with peanut sauce. Mmmm… let’s get some now.
Great food, must try. We have been dedicated fans of this take out place. They don’t have a sit down restaurant but the service is fast and the portions are decent. The best egg rolls in the city and reasonably priced
Good food at a great price. The food was ready quick (pick up) & was delicious. Will definitely be my first pick for Chinese.
