From Moose Jaw. Had coffee and cinnamon bun, everything was very good. Nice art gallery.
Meh. I had the chicken salad sandwich on marble rye with potato salad. The potato salad was the kind you get in a plastic bucket at the grocery store. The chicken salad was all right but I wouldn’t bother ordering it again. Don’t have the coffee either-it’s not very good. Service was good though.
Calories???? Sigh!. I do enjoy eating at Henry’s but haven’t for some time now because they don’t list their calories and nutritional information. I decide what I’m eating before I go to any restaurant by collecting that information ahead of time. It’s become very important to me to stay within a 300 calorie range at a meal.
Breakfast Special. Was looking forward to the breakfast special and was very disappointed with the slow service and the food. I have never before ordered bacon and eggs and only gotten 1 piece of bacon. They need more servers/cooks in their restaurant in the morning. Even waited a long time for a menu – finally got one myself. The coffee took forever to come and had to ask for a refill. The food was not worth the long wait.
I had the quesadilla which came with fresh cranberry salsa. The salsa was amazing, as was the rest of the dish. I was tempted to try the lobster bisque but as a maritimer, i wasn’t sure it would measure up. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. Service was excellent!
Good food, okay service, stay away from the desserts!. The lobster bisque is amazing, so so good. The stew wasn’t bad, the broccoli was a little overpowering. The chicken primavera is nice and the quesadillas were good. The shepherd’s pie tasted good but came out like it had been slopped on the plate – spatter everywhere. When I received my stew, the underplate, right beside my garlic toast, had leftover food stuck on it. Something green and sticky, which certainly did not come from the stew or garlic toast. I told a server and she was so busy glaring at me for pointing it out and asking her to remove the dirty plate, I don’t think she even saw it.What really got me was that the apple cider I ordered came from a powder pack and when I asked what desserts they made on site, she said none. Including the ‘fresh baked cookies’. As a whole, I reccomend the restaurant. The food is pretty good but stick to water, tea, or coffee to drink and don’t order dessert. We did and got the pie that Safeway sells for 6$ – we paid 5$ a slice, with no icecream.
Great Soup!. You have to try this place for lunch! It is great. I would say the best lobster Bisque I have had in Regina EVER! and thier sandwiches are really good too. Its a great place to have lunch. And they have a nice gift shop as well!
