Who are you people??. I’m starting to think the reviewers of this restaurant are either professional Internet trolls or ate at the wrong place. Our family orders from Little Saigon 2 once a month at least. Every time my in laws come to town they ask to order from there. The portions are huge, so much so that my husband and I always have more than enough for lunch the next day. It is fresh and flavourful and not nearly as greasy as 90% of the other Asian take-out restaurants in the city. You can have a healthy lunch for less than the cost of a fast food combo meal…can’t beat it.
Take out. Ordered 3 dishes. All terrible. Do not go there!!!!!! Bring back house of yee
Came in for an evening meal and was greatly disappointed. The tea, which came in a dirty pot, started the experience. The appetizer of fresh rolls was a unappetizing mix of chewy and raw and ended up being left unfinished. The combo plate was even more dissapointing with overcooked chicken and cold pork accompanying a sad mix of overcooked limp vegetables. The meal finished with our waitress choosing to use her bare hands and a dirty fork from the table to package out leftovers. And if this was not all enough reason to never come back, the smashed fortune cookies sealed the deal. Save your money. Go elsewhere.
Never Again. Save your taste receptors and head on up the street to Thai Basil – similar price, 10X the quality. The fresh rolls are a major let down, my colleague took a single bite and decided they were not for him. Part of the combo plate arrived lukewarm. Flavour was noticeably absent. Pad Thai was overspiced and simply not there. We took a chance upon seeing the reviews. As an avid Thai fan, I would recommend avoiding this place outright.
Unappealling food. Not only are the meals skimpy but very unappealling visually. Need color added to meals. Rice tasted terrible, egg roll was gross and shrimp and chicken balls every so small. I asked to box up my bad meal and when asked if all was ok it was not worth responding to. Upon arriving home I discovered they threw out my 1/2 eaten egg roll – how rude! Food was also luke warm.SR Kitchen on Rochdale makes way better food and much tastier…………I won’t be back.
Plenty to choose from. A reasonably priced place to eat. Friendly service is fast. Our favorite dishes are the hot pots, coconut curry dishes, noodle bowls, fried rice and fresh rolls. Portions are big so there is always leftovers to eat the next day. With over 200 items to choose from we tend to try a new item every time.
Nope. This is where House of Yee use to be, so we thought we would give it a try. I can say that I haven’t eaten at all of the canadian chinese cuisine places in Regina, but I have eaten a quite a few and this is by far the worst so far. The fried rice was….sloppy, it was wet and gross….threw it out. Sweet and Sour pork was under fried and didn’t get very much meat….mostly onion and green pepper.Chicken balls were rock hard and dark tasting and very little meat in them. Worst Singapore noodle I have ever had….Ever! I don’t know why so many resteraunts have a hard time making this dish 😕 The Coconut Chicken curry was pretty tasty, poured it over the singapore noodle to make everything taste better. Safe to say that we won’t oreder take out again from them or dine in either. Especially when there are better places along Rochdale Ave to order from.On a postive note… no MSG 🙂
