We tried this place for a drink and appetizer. Sat on the dining side and I loved that they had booths but was turned off immediately by how dirty the place was. Food everywhere all over the floor. I didn’t want to rest my arms on the table as it felt grimy. And the restaurant itself is a new place but feels dated and like it’s been around forever. We decided against drinks and just tried some appetizers and then to leave. Ordered the Spinach Dip and Deep Fried Pickles. The Spinach dip was absolutely awful! Barely and dip, supper garlicky and stale gross chips. We sent it back. The Deep Fried pickles were great! They should be paired with a better dip though, but very tasty and come with some little jalapeos. I’m sure there are some really good meals here, but for the price and after our experience, You can get good burgers and great steaks at many other resteraunt a in the city. Chapeau to our waitress though! Service was really good and she even introduced herself like an adult, a lost art now a days in the service industry.

This was my third time here and it was pretty good. We got the steak bites as a starter and they were delicious. Would definitely order them again! The price was pretty high for what you get though. Our waitress was slow, and didn’t refill my drink until the end of our meal..

Ironically, steak is what not to order here (despite it being a steakhouse) but they aren’t as flavorful and the steaks are more gristly (and chewy) than at the Keg or The Diplomat (but also about half the price or less). That being said, there are some decent items on the menu including a tasty salmon dish and a short rib Asian noodle dish. It’s casual- go later to avoid families.

We’ve been here twice. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, the service is good, and I love having a salt grinder on the table. But unlike my husband, I’m not a fan of steak and there’s not a lot on the menu that appeals to me, so both times I ordered the West Coast Chicken Filo. It was delicious, but the second time there wasn’t as much Hollandaise sauce as there was the first time so it was a bit drier than I would have liked. I admit that’s a petty complaint though.

Good food, great service. Don’t expect to be blown away, it’s just pub food. However the consistencancy of what is served is great.Beware the bar ninja, she’s sneeeeeky.

Incredible food and service!!! You never find both of these elements anywhere!! Smugglers cove topping is amazing. I’m a major food snob, and this place continues to amaze me in every way!! Keep up the good work:)

Bland and pricey. We had the ribs and peppercorn pasta, both were very bland. The garlic toast was stale. The service was mediocre. The price was $65. Definitely will not be going back.
