Our waitress was phenomenal! She was so attentive, always refilling our drinks and asked a few times how everything was. I had chicken fingers and they were awesome. It came with soup and the soup of the day was Hungarian cabbage soup…OMG mmmmmmm!!!! Huge portion sizes, so you definitely get what you pay for! Hubby ordered a burger and it was massive and he said it was really good. We can’t wait to go back and try more on the menu. We finally found a GOOD restaurant in Regina after living here 6 months. What a hidden treasure. Also picked up a cinnamon bun on the way out and my hubby said it was to die for! Keep up the great work 🙂
Terrible. Service is ok. had some kind of burger creation that was aweful.had a dumpling soup another time and it tasted like flour.it was horrible.probably good for breakfast but nothing else.there are many better restaurants in the city than this one.and for those that say it has the best breakfasts…….they obviously havent been to coras in the south end of regina.nickys is not a place i go to eat.
Honestly, one of the best breakfasts I have ever had at a restaurant. Had the bacon and eggs. They even put cheese on my eggs at no cost. Absolutely delicious. Hashbrowns and bacon were cooked perfectly as well. Very clean atmosphere as well with the nice staff.
Great Food. Best baked goods ever! Service is a bit sloppy but the food makes up for that. Thanks for a great lunch.
My family heads to Nicky’s about once a month or so and I enjoy going for lunch or dinner. I haven’t been for breakfast but I’m sure it is good too. We haven’t had awful service there and are always in and out in a reasonable time. There are large portions and my food has always been really good. It’s nothing fancy which makes it comfortable and I enjoy my time there!
Decent food in a casual dining atmosphere. Some things on the menu are very good and others are mediocre. I love their Peppercorn Swiss burger (big and sloppy) and chocolate shakes. I don’t like their fries. Some other reviews complain of poor customer service. I find that this occurs when they are VERY busy–which is often because the food is good value. It is also a bit more of an informal restaurant and you need to speak up and get the server’s attention sometimes. Often I have to seat myself. They have always been polite and my orders have been accurate.
