April 2014 Visit. I got to try the chicken and beef shawarma. I thought the price was high, but the meal was huge. I had enough left overs for another meal. The food was very good. I will be back to try other things on the menu. The server was very nice and attentive to me and my friend.

Plain and simple. Regina Kabob House offers straightforward middle eastern cuisine serving standard fare. The interior of the restaurant was clean and well lit, but not very busy. There was only one other table seated at 6:00pm when I arrived and maybe two other tables that were seated afterwards. The decor has a sort of outdoors-indoors feel to it with a two-tiered dining area which is on a balcony in the upstairs portion. Their platter combos feature a variety of meat options (and falafel for vegetarian) which comes with rice and a choice of soup or salad for a starter. If you are in the mood for something a bit lighter, wraps, soups, salads and falafel are also served. They offer a lunch special which seems to be a lighter (and cheaper) version of the platter combo. I ordered the beef kabob platter with lentil soup as a starter and falafel. The meat was very fresh and both the kabob and pilaf was wonderfully spiced and very fragrant. While the platter was excellent, the falafel tasted a bit overcooked for my liking and upon returning I would probably not order it again. Considering the amount and quality of the food that was part of the platter I feel it was appropriately priced.

I definitely have not had the same bad food experience of the other two reviewers. I have been there on multiple occasions and they have only ever forgotten one item. I love their chicken shwarma and falafel .. the falafel is very different from the ones at pita pit or other places which just seem to be the premixed stuff you buy at ther grocers. They always have a lunch special and I love the pickled veggies in their falafel wrap. I also find their portion size quite large and always have stuff to take home. They have great fruit juice too. The service is always very friendly but sometimes there is a wait for food. My main complaint is the parking which is sometimes hard to get in the back. So I always bus there. I also live the basoubas (?)… It has become my go to for good food if I’m wondering where to go.

Not impressed. Small portions (for the cost) and below average service. There are better places in town for middle eastern food.
